Offshore personnel
We employ around 60 “in-house” ROV supervisors/pilots and survey personnel technicians. Our personnel go through a continuous training program in our ROV base in Naron-Ferrol, Spain where they can practice their skills by enjoying the opportunity to use the ACSM ROV simulator, a complete replica of Triton XLS ROV console with control joystick, full ROV and TMS power switching and tether control. Working at the simulator console, our personnel learn flying skills and experience many of the challenges of offshore operations.
ACSM personnel have worked with submersible systems aboard many cable ships and offshore vessels with almost all types of ROV systems including Perry Slingsby, SMD, Schilling, Saab-Seaeye, and Sub-Atlantic among others, as well as with SMD and EB submersible cable ploughs.
