Salvage & Rescue
ACSM is internationally recognised in the field of deep-ocean Search and Rescue. We offer marine emergency response by deploying the latest technology of underwater sonars to search and locate marine wrecks and subsequent video inspection and/or recovery through the use of our
ROV systems.
We cooperate with public authorities, government agencies, as well as with private organisations for marine rescue operations up to 6000m water depth.
The Wolf Jaw operation
The Wolf Jaw operation
Our experience performing deep-water salvage and rescue operations dates back to 2007, when ACSM personnel aboard B/S “Don Inda” managed the successful rescue operation of the fishing boat “Nuevo Pepita Aurora” wreckage, sunk near Algeciras. With the simultaneous deployment of two ROVs (Cherokee and Argus), our personnel performed the “Wolf Jaw” operation which allowed the recovery of the wreckage from 140 m depth and transportation to a shallow area to enable divers to access.
