Cougar 1432 ROV sea trials at Ferrol
The Cougar 1432 ROV sea trials have been successfully carried out last week 24 to 28 January 2011.

They were some combined ROV with divers trials and subsea intervention works, without any remarkable incident.

Both SubAtlantic Apache 8 and Seaye Cougar 1432 ROVs were working together at sea performing trials of rescue operation, intervention in a subsea structure (valve and connector manipulation), structure brush cleaning, CP measurings, payload load test, Divers survey and asistance, subsea dock pillards visual inspection, etc...

The Cougar ROV performed very well and all ACSM operators and Supervisors become quite happy with the Saab-Seaye system.

The LARS and the Control Cabin have been manufactured by ACSM with local suppliers at Vigo.
